Welcome to the homepage of the Eurofolk Festival Marcali!

Eurofolk Marcali International Festival of Folk Dance Groups (in Hungarian: Eurofolk Néptáncfesztivál Marcali) is organized annually in the end of July in Marcali, Hungary.

The purpose of the Eurofolk Festival is to present to the public the folklore dances, music and singing and the cultural variety of different countries.

The first festival was held in 2002. It lasts 4 days and usually presents 8-10 folk dance groups on the stage.

The program consists of street marches, street dances, dance halls and gala-performances.

Our Festival is a part of the FESTIVAL OF NATIONS, which is a complex program series with folk dance groups, brass bands, light music concerts in more settlements (Balatonkeresztúr, Balatomáriafürdő, Balatonberény, Marcali) near Lake Balaton.

The organizers of the Eurofolk Festival Marcali are the Community Centre of Marcali and the Baglas Folk Dance Group.
